Four Points/Roof Certifications and Wind Mitigation Training
Glenn Stephens started G. Stephens & Associates, Inc. in the Fall of 2011, using his three Florida licenses as a Certified Residential Contractor, Certified Roofing Contractor, and Home Inspector to educate homeowners about their home and how to protect it. During this time Glenn has performed more than 2,700 Wind Mitigation Inspections, 4-Point Inspections, Roof Certifications and New Home Real Estate Inspections. He was also contracted by a large Florida-based home inspection company to teach proper techniques and inspection report writing. As of May 2017 G. Stephens & Associates, Inc is now a State Provider of continuing education for Contractors and Home Inspectors. August 2018 we have been listed on Florida’s Office of Supplier Diversity as a Florida Veteran Certified Business.
Glenn is a RPI (Registered Professional Inspector) with the Florida Association of Building Inspectors (F.A.B.I.) along being elected to the Board of Directors for 2019, a Certified Master Inspector® with InterNACHI, an ACI® of American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI), member of National Roofing Contractors of America (NRCA), member of Realtor® Association of Sarasota and Manatee Counties (RASM), and a proud member of the Inspector Brotherhood. He is currently pursuing a certification as a Florida Building Code Inspector, along with the sub-certifications for 1&2 Family Dwellings and Roofing. As part of the building code requirements, he is currently a member of the Building Officials Association of Florida (BOAF) and the International Code Council (ICC).

Troy Bishop, P.E. is an exemplary Professional Engineer with an active General Contractor’s license and growing responsibilities within his capacity as Vice President of Operations. He currently specializes in designs and inspections ranging from entire building envelope systems to various types of specialty pre-engineered structures including the spectrum of railing, staircase, and specialty structural installations throughout Florida and the nation. Mr. Bishop currently serves as Vice President of Operations for Engineering Express, managing an average of 1200 ‘express’ and several long-term significant projects per year while sustaining his own multi-departmental long-term goals.
Amanda Throndsen currently works for the Florida Department of Health in Tallahassee working on the US Consumer Product Safety Commissions Pool Safely Grant to combat unintentional drownings in the state through education of Code/Statute Enforcement Personnel and Community outreach. Ms. Throndsen has been in the Aquatics Industry for more than 20 years teaching, training, and running programs and facilities. She holds training certifications from the American Red Cross along with being a Certified Pool Operator and achieving a Master’s Degree.
Dock, Seawall and Lift Inspections
Mark Hall is president & general manager of HomePro Inspections of the Keys, Inc., a multi-inspector firm in the Florida Keys. Mark is a FABI Registered Professional Inspector (RPI-0807) as well as a Florida Certified General Contractor (CGC-48766) and a Florida licensed Home Inspector (HI-360). He is also a member of the International Code Council (ICC).
Mark started HomePro Inspections of the Keys in 1998 after 20-years in the construction industry and has performed approximately 7,000 home inspections, as well as thousands of dock & seawall inspections, 4-point and windstorm mitigations. In addition to home inspections, Mark is an active General Contractor providing Construction Management services to upper-end clients building one or two custom homes per year.
Prior to becoming a home inspector, Mark ran his own home building business in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida and prior to that was the construction Project Manager for Taylor Woodrow Homes’ residential development operations in Jacksonville in the early 1990’s. Additionally, Mark is a carpenter by trade, experienced in all types of structural and finish carpentry.
Mark Has been an active FABI Member for 7 years and served as a Director for two years on the FABI Board for 2017 & 2018.
