Advanced Plumbing Inspections

This four hour course will be taught by Jon Bolton.

When you know more, you’re worth more.

We cover things they just don’t teach you in school.  You will gain knowledge and technique that elevate you above your competition.  When you state something is wrong or doesn’t work, you better be able to back it up.

We’ll cover prohibited practices. You will exude confidence and professionalism when you know the why behind the wrong.

We cover code specific items. This is not just a chance to succeed but a chance to excel.

This course begins Friday, June 28 at 1 p.m. and is NOT included as part of the 14 hour package.

Four Points/Roof Certifications

This course teaches participants inspection techniques on how to perform four point and roof certification inspections.  It teaches participants to understand and fill out the latest four point and roof certification forms. Four Points/Roof Certifications will start at 8 a.m. on Friday, June 28.  This course, taught by Manny Gonzalez and Albert Cooke is approved for four HI credits.

Wind Mitigation Inspections

This course teaches participants the history of wind mitigation in Florida, inspection techniques on how to perform a wind mitigation inspection for insurance credits, how to understand and fill out the latest OIR-B1-1802 Uniform Mitigation Verification Inspection Form, and about the different requirements between Florida & HVHZ (Miami-Dade & Broward).

Wind Mitigation Training, taught by Manny Gonzalez and Albert Cooke, begins at 1 p.m. on Friday and is approved for both HI and CILB credits as initial certification or continuing education.

These classes are part of the total 14 hour package.

Introduction to Home Inspection – Report Writing

Did you know that learning how to inspect a home is just part of your responsibilities as a home inspector?  What do you do with the information that you’ve collected from the home inspection?  Report writing is one of the most critical parts of completing the home inspection.

This three hour class on Report Writing will help you to understand the process of delivering an easy to understand, detailed, and computer-generated report to your clients, regardless of the software you choose.  Learn tips on how to write a report with details and content necessary to follow your Standards of Practice.

Whether you are new to the industry or a veteran inspector, this class will provide tips and guidance on how to write a report that is detailed and easy to understand, while protecting yourself from potential call backs and complaints.

Remember, you inspect the home to protect your client.  You write the report to protect yourself!

This class is free to those who register to attend other conference courses/days and $25 for those just attending this class.
