Peer Review – Field Class
If you are curious about becoming a home inspector or just
want to pick up some new inspection tips & techniques…Come on down to our Open House Inspection!
The Florida Association of Building Inspectors (FABI) and the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) have once again teamed up to conduct a peer review as part of the FABI SPring Conference in Orlando.
This Peer Review will have experienced inspectors at various areas of the house to guide you through their methods of inspection. You get the opportunity to see how other inspectors process their information and approach their work. Also, learn how we can miss things or have differing opinions on the same subject matter. There will be plenty of time for questions and answers throughout, which many new inspectors find to be an excellent learning tool.
The best part of this Peer Review is that it is being held in real house, complete with real issues that come up on real inspections. This isn’t just a simulation, this is the real thing.
The Peer Review is great opportunity for everyone! For those who are interested in becoming a home inspector, this provides a fully immersive experience to get a feel for what an inspection is like. For newer inspectors, you can learn some invaluable tips and techniques from the inspectors leading the peer reviews. And for our veteran inspectors, you can make sure you’re on at the top of your game and discuss your best inspection methods with others.
Cost to attend is $60 with a $10 credit for a total of $50.
